Plumas District Hospital is recruiting for a full-time Ultrasonographer. ARDMS required prefer to include Radiological Technologist license. JOB SUMMARY: Operates ultrasound equipment to make images of designated portions of the body (both patient and intrauterine fetus), and to provide assistance to the radiologist during procedures relating to ultrasound. Must be able to work independently in all areas of radiography, to include the emergency and operating room. Position requires that you be required to handle any clerical work needed in the harmonious operation of the radiology department (e.g. scheduling; distribution reports, filing). Position requires standby and after hours callback, and be able to respond to the facility in less than thirty (30) minutes. Ability to make contact with people who may be under physical and emotional stress. QUALIFICATIONS: Satisfactory completion and graduation from a formal ultrasound program, or training by a radiological hospital or clinic based program. |
