Plumas District Hospital is recruiting for a part-time benefited Computer Operator/Analyst. Operates computer and peripheral equipment and runs routine, scheduled programs. Summary of Operator Duties: 1. Responsible for report generation and production according to system design and user needs. 2. Ensures backup integrity and sends out backup tapes for all systems, within security procedures. 3. Diagnoses PC hardware and software related problems. Basic troubleshooting with end users. Installs and operates equipment. 4. Performs status checks on all system console terminals and printers. Verifies that all background jobs are required for the specific machine. Summary of Analyst Duties: 1. Learns applications utilized by end users. 2. Develops, writes and helps implement plans relating to information management affecting various organizational issues. Documents computer operations and processes to be used by IT operations. 3. Identifies and recommends quality improvement measures pertaining to information management throughout the organization. Education and experience: Minimum of 2-3 years computer operations experience; High school diploma or equivalent. Must meet physical requirements listed on the Job Description. |
