Plumas District Hospital is recruiting for a regular part-time benefited Respiratory Care Practitioner. DUTIES: Responsible for coordination and administration of all modes of respiratory therapy, cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas monitoring. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence of all techniques and values in the treatment of neonates, infants, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients within the scope of the Cardiopulmonary Department. QUALIFICATIONS: Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license required, and current CPR card. Has or is in the process of obtaining current Neonatal Resuscitation certification. Requires two years of experience in critical care with ventilator care. Experience with cardiac testing such as ECGs, stress testing and holter monitors preferred. Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis needed. Must meet physical requirements listed on the job description. |
